Latest Sony Ericsson Idou Mobile Feature

Sony Ericsson Idou with 12 Mega Pixel Camer

Rumour has it that Sony Ericsson are launching a 12 mega pixel cameraphone with an official show and tell at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this month.  Announced only yesterday and still to be given a model name the Sony Ericsson Idou (pronounced I DO) is in fact that very 12 mega pixel cameraphone that has had tongues wagging. With pictures to show, the Sony Ericsson Idou could very well be the end of the digital camera.

The first mobile phone to offer a camera of such magnitude the Sony Ericsson Idou should be hitting the UK shelves later on this year, creating huge competition for the likes of the Apple iPhone.  Sporting an MP3 player with all the vital music features that you would find on a Walkman phone the Sony Ericsson Idou combines high end features with the latest technology providing complete entertainment.
In addition to the 12.1 mega pixel camera that comes with a built-in Xenon flash and intuitive touch focus the Sony Ericsson Idou has been given a 3.5 inch wide 16:9 ratio touchscreen and will run on a new Symbian mobile operating system which is still in development and said to be open sourced.

Equipped for mobile streaming with Turbo 3G connectivity and WiFi compatibility the Sony idou offers integration with YouTube as well as many other familiar and popular applications. Although the full spec is not yet known we do however know that the Sony Ericsson Idou will come with an integrated GPS receiver.
The Idou feels pleasingly solid, though not especially heavy, with build quality reminiscent of Sony Ericsson more robust metal based feature phones. It is finished with metallic materials that re-inforce the feeling of solidity. The camera slide is smooth and similar to other high-end Cybershot devices. The camera hump is less noticeable in person that it is the pictures. Indeed the whole device, subjectively, feels smaller that the pictures suggest. Unlike the Xperia X1 the device is not significantly larger than Sony Ericsson's other high-end phones.
