HTC 7 Mozart clears GCF with Euro 3G support
The HTC 7 Mozart has been spotted passing through the Global Certification Forum, complete with quadband GSM/EDGE support and dualband UMTS/HSPA (900/2100). The listing – which, as the GCF only test cellular wireless standards, doesn’t include any other specifications – confirms that the 7 Mozart is HTC’s European model.
That’s as opposed to the HTC Schubert, which is believed to be basically the same handset only using the North American 3G bands. Other specifications for the 7 Mozart include a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8GB of onboard storage, an 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and a 3-inch WVGA Super LCD display.

HTC Mozart is totally identical to the previously seen HTC Schubert and maybe it is possible that we are looking at two variants of the same handset or maybe Mozart is for Europe and the Schubert for US. Sound’s fair right?

With a name like Mozart, you would expect the handset to be a capable music device, and thankfully, the HTC 7 Mozart is exactly that. Included on the device is support for Dolby Mobile sound enhancement, as well as SRS Wow effect. This claims to offer a deeper, richer sound output, which enhances all round the overall quality of music and audio playback.
